McTimoney Treatment & Sports Massage
Mel will complete an initial static and dynamic assessment of your horse. She will watch your horse walk and trot up and see how he's moving on a small circle and while backing up. Mel will then physically assess your horse through palpation and discuss her findings in detail with you. Mel then provides a full McTimoney treatment and sports massage, appropriate for your horse, this usually lasts around an hour, including stretches as appropriate. Mel will also complete a short written report for you and your vet if required.
£45 within 20 miles of Norton Canon, Hereford. (A mileage fee may be applicable for clients further afield.)
Monthy Dog Clinic
Mel offers a monthly dog clinic at Norton Canon, Herefordshire where you can bring your dog for a check-up, McTimoney treatment and massage. £35. Call Mel to book an appointment.
'How to Massage Your Horse' Clinics
Mel can run 'how to massage your horse' clinics at your own yard. These can be tailored to suit your needs but generally last 2 hours. Mel wil cover how massage can benefit your horse, when and when not to massage and shows you the basic massage techniques in theory and practice.
Cost of clinic for up to 6 people: £90.00 within 20 miles of Norton Canon, Hereford. (A mileage fee may be applicable for clients further afield.)
Presentations/Demonstrations
Mel is available to come and talk about McTimoney Therapy and Massage Therapy and its benefits - ideal for Pony Clubs or Riding Club groups. There is no charge for this service although a mileage cost may apply if over 200 miles from Hereford.
